Perfect Fit: Revealed
Twelve days ago I wrote about my journey to seek out the perfect fit for the next job that God had ready for me. The very next day I met up with my friend Jeff Hook, CEO of Fellowship Technologies. I’ve known Jeff for five years through our common friend Terry Storch. Having stayed in touch with Jeff over the years, I had previously scheduled this meeting to see if he’d be willing to make some introductions on my behalf to his large network. Jeff invited me to spend time talking about my passions, expertise, goals and thoughts on church as we know it today. Sharing in this conversation was Curtis Simmons, Executive VP of Operations & Customer Effectiveness.
The next two hours were fun, insightful and incredibly revealing. While I had known about Fellowship One, their software, what I didn’t realize until that moment was the alignment of our visions for the local church and Software as a Service (SaaS). Eye-opening!
That meeting led to another with all of the Executive Team members (incredibly interesting and, I must say, entertaining!). And that led to my perfect fit being fully revealed:
I’m excited to announce that I’m now the Director of Communications at Fellowship Technologies! I’ll be working on the management team and providing thought-influence, team leadership and defining the communications methodologies & content for the company.
God truly moves in His timing and provides in ways I could never imagine. I am so thankful for His direction and for creating my next perfect fit!
